Mike was born and raised in Plymouth, Ma.  He started playing drums when he was six years old on an old Gretsch snare drum he bought with allowance money. Mike’s days of performing began as the Little Drummer Boy in third grade. He studied with several professional drummers/percussionist for years at Dick Dicenso’s drum shop. Mike Holds an Associate’s Degree in Audio Production and Engineering.

Mike has performed in several bands over the years including Lack There Of, Confusion External, early project bands with fellow Bassist Mike Shaw, Fishing with Fredo and is currently gigging with the popular south shore cover band Spank. Mike is also the Co-founder of Groove Juice.

Influences include Liberty Devito, Carter Beauford, Neil Peart, and Steve Gadd.

Mike enjoys the family life with his wife and two kids as well as the outdoors – hiking, biking and kayaking.
